Primary Seal Windows & Doors works out of a shop at 240 Bartor Rd. in North York, fabricating and installing custom vinyl windows and exterior doors across the Greater Toronto Area and Central Ontario.
We measure, build and install vinyl replacement windows and exterior entry, patio and garden doors. That is the entire scope. We take on no other exterior trades, and we do not subcontract the installation to a crew we have never met.
Every unit is custom-built to the opening we measured. That matters more than it sounds: standard doors are 80 inches tall, and a great many Ontario openings are not. Building down an opening with framing and trim to accept a stock unit is the common shortcut, and it permanently shrinks the entrance.
The part nobody sees
Most of what goes wrong with a replacement window happens in the cavity between the frame and the rough opening. It gets insulated properly or it gets stuffed; it gets air-sealed on both faces or it gets one bead of foam. Then the trim goes back on and nobody can tell the difference for about three winters.
A well-made window fitted badly performs worse than an ordinary window fitted properly. We would rather explain that before quoting than have you compare two prices that look like they are for the same job.
